Please note that all returns are subject to a 5% re-stocking charge. We do not reimburse postal costs.

Damages/Shortages/Missing orders

All of the above must be reported to us by email or letter within 30 days of the invoice date.

We now offer a discount account to any customer who orders regularly with us, please note that this is not a credit account, payment is required before goods are dispatched.

Discounts for account holders are as per the following qualifying criteria:

•     5%    TR3OC members  – Membership details required when you order (use Comments box) OR
•     5%    £500 spent with LP Williams since 2010
•  10%     £1000 spent with LP Williams sice 2010

NON UK COURIER DELIVERIES

We have been advised by our couriers that as a result of limited freight flights and post-Brexit costs there will be an extra surcharge per kg per parcel:

EUROPE £3.00 per kilo

USA  £4.00 per kilo

NEW ZEALAND  £5.00 per kilo

AUSTRALIA  £6.00 per kilo

OUR POLICY

We always adjust postal charges up or down as appropriate once your order been packed and the protective packaging has been added.

For example……If you select Small Parcel 1kg- 2kg (£8.75) and the boxed item and packaging weighs 990g we will only charge you the under 1kg price (£5.65)

UK

Many small (flat)items and gaskets are sent out in a padded bag for protection and as such are “Large letter” size (£3.55)

The majority of orders under £120 in value as dispatched as a “Small parcel” (£5.65)

For orders over £120 in value you need to select Special delivery/Courier.

Triumph part numbering

Pre 1972 Triumph used a letter prefix and from 1972 onwards  they used a number prefix.
The later system has the number prefix followed by four numbers.
e.g. E327 becomes 70-0327 and T23 becomes 57-0023 etc.

Where there are only one, two or three numbers after a letter, add in one , two or three zero,s  until the part number contains four characters

S = 21 – e.g. S550 becomes 21-0550
W = 37 – e.g. W135 becomes 37-0135
T = 57 – e.g. T23 becomes 57-0023
D = 60 – e.g. D1860 becomes 60-1860
D1= 61 – e.g. D13694 becomes 61-3694
E = 70 – e.g. E1591 becomes 70-1591
E1 = 71 – e.g. E10007 becomes 71-0007
F = 82 – e.g. F3655 becomes 82-3655
F1 = 83 – e.g. F12239 becomes 83-2239
H = 97 – e.g. H4001 becomes 97-4001
